64gb Version of the Galaxy S3 Will Not be Released in the US
When the Galaxy S3 was announced, it was said it would come in three size variants, 16gb, 32gb, and 64gb. As of right now, the 16gb and 32gb sizes are the only ones that have seen the light of day, leading some to doubt there will be a release of the 64gb version. According to a report by The Verge, Samsung has put those doubts to bed, confirming the 64gb model of the Galaxy S3 will be released “during the second half of this year”. Samsung, also went on to put a damper on the plans of US consumers hoping to get a hold of the 64gb monster, stating the 64gb Galaxy S3 was only announced internationally. This means there’s a good chance AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint customers wanting to get their paws on a 64gb Galaxy S3, will have to do some importing.
