There’s no denying the success of the iPhone. 聽Where the debate comes in is where it falls short in some people’s eyes. 聽The main two things you constantly hear people complain about when mentioning the iPhone, is customization (or lack thereof) and its miniscule screen. 聽Customization aside, there is a large number of people who will not consider the iPhone because of screen size alone. 聽Though much of the older crowd could benefit from the iPhone’s simplicity, they’d also benefit from a larger screen due to poorer vision. 聽Then there are the people who just prefer to have more screen real estate for web browsing, reading, movie watching, gaming, etc. 聽If Apple would release the iphone in two screen sizes, a 4.5″ and a 3.5″, they would corner the smartphone market. 聽They’d have something for people who prefer a larger screen and they’d still have an offering for those who don’t mind squinting at the screen and prefer the current size. 聽This simple move would instantly grab an additional part of the smartphone market just because of screen size. 聽Apple needs to wise up and come off this one size fits all mentality they seem to have. 聽Start offering your customers a choice.
