Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Tab 10.1N Will Not Be Banned in Germany

Not guilty

If you’re a Galaxy Nexus fan living in Germany, you may have been concerned about the future of the Galaxy Nexus, especially after it was banned in the US. 聽Much to Apple’s chagrin, neither the Galaxy Nexus nor the Galaxy Tab 10.1N will be banned in Germany, as the higher court of Munich denied Apple an injunction against those devices. 聽The court found the patents in question, regarding聽”list scrolling and document translation, scaling, and rotation on a touch-screen display”, to be invalid. 聽As a result the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Tab 10.1N are now officially off the hook, at least in Germany. 聽It will be interesting to see how the German decision impacts the ongoing Galaxy Nexus battle here in the United States.
