Galaxy Nexus Full Screen

The guys over at XDA have developed a mod that enables the Galaxy Nexus to operate in full screen mode without any on-screen buttons.  When this mod is coupled with a gesture based controls app, a user can fully operate their Galaxy Nexus without the need of on-screen buttons.  The mod is as simple as installing the FullScreenToggle apk and running it (you need to have root).  As for being able to control your phone without the on-screen buttons, there are two apps that can be used, Button Savior or LMT.  Button Savior allows a user to use a gesture to bring up buttons that go away after their used.  LMT allows a user to use gestures that represent home, back, multitask, search, and other functions to control their phone.  LMT also gives the user the option to use pie controls, similar to the quick controls found in the Ice Cream Sandwich browser.  A user just taps along the right side of the screen and the pie wheel comes up with home, back, menu, multitask, and search.  For more information on this mod, check out the link at the bottom.
