Galaxy Nexus Pulled From Google Play Store

June 29th Apple was granted an injunction, banning the import of the Galaxy Nexus due to alleged patent infringement. 聽July 3rd, Samsung’s request to have the injunction stayed was denied. 聽Shortly after, the Galaxy Nexus was removed from the Google Play Store. 聽The Galaxy Nexus page in the Play Store now shows the pure Android smartphone as “coming soon” instead. 聽The Verge reports having received word from Google, that the Galaxy Nexus will begin shipping once again next week. 聽No specifics were given regarding any changes that may or may not be made to the Galaxy Nexus to circumvent the patents in question. 聽In the meantime, those looking to purchase a GSM Galaxy Nexus, will be waiting at least until next week to do so.
