This is pretty much as close as you’re going to get to official, without an official announcement being made. 聽T-Mobile almost certainly will be carrying Samsung’s Galaxy S3 smartphone. 聽A FCC filing of a Galaxy S3 with the model number SGH-T999, and carrying T-Mobile’s 1700MHz AWS band, has all but confirmed Magenta will be carrying Samsung’s upcoming beastphone. 聽What is even more intriguing is this filing also shows 850MHz and 1900MHz frequencies being used for HSPA+ data. 聽This means T-Mobile’s Galaxy S3 will be compatible with the frequency refarming T-Mobile is planning to do later this year. 聽The Galaxy S3 is expected to release in the US some time in June.
