Galaxy Tab 2 to be First Tablet to Run Ice Cream Sandwich (Video)

Samsung has officially annouced its upcoming Galaxy Tab 2 that will ship running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. 聽The Galaxy Tab 2 sports a 7″ 1024×600 PLS TFT LCD Display. 聽Under the hood is a 1ghz dual core processor (no word yet on which processor it is) accompanied by 1gb of RAM. 聽There is a 3mp fixed focus camera on back with VGA camera on front. The 3g version will come with HSPA+ on board. 聽The Galaxy Tab 2 will come in 3 flavors 8gb, 16gb, and 32gb of internal memory and all will have a micro sd slot for expandable storage. 聽The bad news is that on the Galaxy Tab 2, Android 4.0 has been adulterated with Touchwiz, and if history is any indication we don’t be able to simply disable it. 聽The tablet is slated for a March release in the UK, with no official word on when a US release will take place.
