Google Wallet Makes a Move They Should Have Done a Long Time Ago
When Google Wallet first launched, users of the app were not presented with many options regarding what credit or debit cards they wanted to tie into the NFC payment app. Google Wallet users only had the option of using either a Citi Mastercard or Google’s prepaid debit card. Fast forward to now, and things have finally changed. Google has released an update for Google Wallet that does away with the Citi Mastercard exclusivity. Now Google Wallet users are able to tie any credit or debit card of their choosing, into the Google Wallet app. This means that now, using Google Wallet, you will be able to make NFC purchases using your bank card, credit card, or any other card you decide you’d like to utilize. It’s been a long time coming, and finally it’s here. Google Wallet just became a little bit more useful.
