HTC Abandoning Sales In Brazilian Market
If you’re in Brazil and had been planning on buying the HTC One X, it’s time to make new plans. HTC has officially scrapped plans to release the One Series in Brazil. This means anyone in Brazil that is interested in the HTC One X, One V, or One S has importing as the only option on the table. HTC points to weak Brazilian sales numbers as the reason for the pull out, saying “after analyzing the sales numbers, we have decided to pull out of the Brazilian market.” As for people in Brazil that already own a HTC smartphone, HTC states they “will continue after-sales support for our products so this should not result in a change in service for current customers”.
