Leave it to XDA to pick the ball up and run with it after its been dropped by a device manufacturer. 聽XDA member mike1986, has developed a hack that boosts the battery life of the HTC One X 10-20%. 聽Apparently, the power management in the One X’s Tegra 3 processor is not functioning properly due to it being placed in an incorrect folder by HTC. 聽Mike1986′s solution will require the user to push an apk file to their smartphone using ADB, and then change its permissions. 聽While the hack isn’t overly complicated, it definitely isn’t something for the average user to attempt. 聽There’s is no word on when HTC may release an official fix.
