The rumor mill has been whispering about the HTC One X (also known as the HTC Ville) for quite some time. 聽Those whispers have now turned into full fledged screams of excitement as a detailed spec sheet along with pictures of the device have surfaced. 聽Before getting into the specs, let me preface this by saying, this sounds like one impressive smartphone. 聽The HTC One X will have a 720p HD 4.7″ Super LCD2 made of 2.5D Gorilla Glass. 聽The HTC One X will feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich being powered by a 1.5ghz quad core Tegra 3 processor and 1gb of RAM. 聽The phone will have 32gb of built in storage (no word on expandable storage) and 25gb of Dropbox cloud storage (for two years). 聽It will also feature wireless HDMI capability (for connecting with HTC Media Link HD unit). 聽NFC will be on board (making it Google Wallet compatible) as will pogo pins that will allow both audio transmission and charging. 聽One interesting feature is the LED “smartflash” that accompanies the 8mp camera. 聽The “smartflash” has 5 automatically adjusting power levels that ensure the correct amount of lighting is provided for the picture. 聽The only thing we still don’t know is a release date, and I would expect to hear more on that during Mobile World Congress.
