Back in April we mentioned the rumors that had HTC working on a 5″ 1080p Galaxy Note competitor.  This time around, it’s more of the same rumor, except now there is speculation of when HTC’s 5″ phablet might be released.  According to DigiTimes, HTC could be launching their 5″ superphone as soon as next month, and as late as October.  Also based on the rumors, we now know (or at least think we do) the resolution of HTC’s upcoming phablet.  The rumor mill has HTC’s Galaxy Note competitor featuring a retina ravaging 1794 x 1080 5″ display.  Of course, this is all rumor at this point as HTC has yet to confirm this, but if the rumors are true, Verizon customers may only have to wait until next month to get their hands on the 1080p goodness.
