HTC Triumph to be China’s First Windows Phone

March 4, 2012 in News by Hashim Fannin

It looks like HTC has beaten the other smartphone manufacturers into the Chinese market.  HTC is already taking preorders for the Chinese version of the HTC Titan in China.  The Herculean HTC Triumph will feature the same specs as its American counterpart, complete with 4.7″ display.  The main difference in the Triumph is it will not include Facebook and Twitter integration due to the local laws.  Instead it will come with Sina Weibo, Tencent Weixin and SkyDrive.  The HTC Triumph will cost ¥4,399 (approx. $700).  HTC definitely isn’t wasting any time trying to get into the Chinese market, and it shouldn’t be very long before we see others follow suit.
