Important Opinions: Google Has No Business Sense When it Comes to Google Wallet
This week, a mod was released on XDA that brought Google Wallet compatibility to the US variants of the Galaxy S3. Prior to the mod, only the Sprint version could work with Google Wallet. The Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T version all were met with an error when attempting to open Google Wallet. The error basically stated that either the device or the carrier was not supported in Google Wallet. This is just plain stupid. Google has gone out of their way to deny Google Wallet access to 3 out of 4 US Galaxy S3 variants, yet they want the service to catch on and grow. How does Google expect to gain more Google Wallet users when they are turning them away when they attempt to use the app? That is ridiculous, and a horrible way to do business. Google should be trying to get Google Wallet onto every phone they possibly can. Instead, they are restricting it to certain phones and severely limiting their possible user base. This is yet another reason Google Wallet is failing and will continue to fail. Isis can’t get here soon enough.
