Important Opinions: T-Mobile Releases Galaxy Note…Charging Today’s Prices for Yesterday’s Tech

Galaxy note Tmobile

The rumor mill had given us a heads up a while ago, that this day would soon come. 聽T-Mobile has finally officially released the Samsung Galaxy Note, but the good news stops there. 聽With a price tag of $249.99 after mail-in rebate, T-Mobile is charging new top of the line device money, for an old phone. 聽While the US version of the Galaxy Note may have just been released in February, it is important to keep in mind the gargantuan Galaxy Note had already been released overseas 4 months prior to that. 聽This means the Galaxy Note is now just 2 months shy of being one year old. 聽Though it may be a new phone on T-Mobile, it makes no sense for a consumer to be paying top of the line device money, for an almost one year old device. 聽The Galaxy S3, which carries next-gen specs is only $30 more than last year’s news Galaxy Note. 聽I’d advise anyone considering buying the Galaxy Note on T-Mobile at the $249.99 price, to reconsider. 聽Nobody should be paying current technology money for last year’s technology.
