iOS 6 Delivers Siri New Features and Brings it to the New iPad

For a while now, Siri has been available exclusively on the iPhone 4S. 聽Now, thanks to iOS 6, that will no longer be the case. 聽With the iOS 6 upgrade, new iPad owners will finally have access to the voice controlled “assistant”. 聽In addition to bringing Siri to a new device, iOS 6 also brings with it new Siri functionality. 聽Siri on iOS 6 will add support for the聽Spanish, Italian, Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese languages. 聽Also, Siri will be able to be used to make Facebook or Twitter updates, launch an app, get sports scores, and make restaurant reservations. 聽Siri will also have a new “Eyes Free” mode, that will allow the user to interact with their phone using nothing but their voice. 聽While no exact release date was given for iOS 6, Apple has announced it will be released this fall.
