Isis Announces First Merchant Partners for NFC Based Payments

Isis, the mobile commerce joint venture between Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, is set to launch this summer initially in Austin, Texas and Salt Lake City, Utah. 聽Today, Isis announced its first merchant partners in Austin and Salt Lake City. 聽The list of merchant partners include:

In today’s announcement, Isis set the expectation for their upcoming mobile commerce offering in a statement reading “This summer, consumers in Austin and Salt Lake City will be able to walk into their AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile or Verizon Wireless stores, choose from a selection of NFC-enabled devices and walk out of the store with the Isis Mobile Wallet enabled and ready to use.”
