Isis Partners with American Express for Upcoming Mobile Wallet

When it comes to NFC based mobile wallets, while Google Wallet doesn’t seem to be doing much, Isis is showing they are playing for keeps. 聽Today Isis announced they have partnered with American Express. 聽This new partnership means Isis has now added even more ammunition to their stockpile, with sights set on gaining a stranglehold on the NFC payments industry when they launch. 聽Isis now has partnerships in place with American Express,聽Capital One, Chase, Barclaycard, Visa, and Mastercard. 聽Isis is due to launch in mid-2012 starting in Salt Lake City and Austin, followed by a national rollout.
