LG Announces Industry First Smartphone with 2gb of RAM

On the heels of Samsung’s big Galaxy S3 announcement, comes LG announcing a smartphone of their own.  Today LG announced their upcoming Optimus LTE2.  The Optimus LTE2 comes packing some impressive specs, including a next-gen 1.5ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with an industry first, 2gb of RAM.  The Optimus LTE2 also features a 4.7″ True HD IPS display, 2150mAh battery, LTE capability, and wireless charging.  LG plans to release the Optimus LTE2 on 3 Korean carriers in mid-May.  No announcement was made regarding device availability in other markets.
