LG to Release Their First Quad-Core Smartphone in June

When it comes to smartphones with quad-core processors, LG is finally getting into the fray. 聽Next month, LG is planning to release their first quad-core smartphone, the Optimus 4X HD. 聽The Optimus 4X HD is a quad-core Tegra 3 powered smartphone running LG’s customized UI over Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. 聽As you would come to expect of any high-end smartphone nowadays, the Optimus 4X HD features a high definition screen, touting a 4.7″ 720p True HD IPS display. 聽LG’s first quad-core phone also comes with 1gb of RAM, 2150 mAh battery, NFC, and 8mp camera with 1.3mp front. 聽Germany, Sweden, Italy, and Poland can expect to see the Optimus 4X HD hit local store shelves “next month”. 聽No release information was given regarding a US launch.
