Samsung 3d

Samsung has reportedly dashed the hopes of those dreaming of a Galaxy S3 with a 3d display.  Engadget reports they have received a statement from Samsung reading, “although Samsung Electronics is constantly exploring new technologies for our mobile devices, we have no immediate plan to include displays featuring 3D technology in our upcoming smartphones.”  Now that Samsung has squashed any notion of them releasing a phone with the headache inducing 3d technology, it will be interesting to see what the Galaxy S3 rumor mill comes up with next.
