Galaxy Note 10.1

Today Samsung announced they will be releasing the Galaxy Note 10.1 tomorrow.  The Galaxy Note 10.1 is most definitely an impressive piece of tech, sporting some very high-end specs.  Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 will pack some serious horsepower, featuring a 1.4ghz quad-core processor accompanied by 2gb of RAM.  In addition to the immense raw power of the Galaxy Note 10.1, it will also feature a 10.1″ 1280×800 HD display, 5mp rear-facing camera with a 1.9mp front, and of course it wouldn’t be a Galaxy Note if it didn’t include the S-Pen.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 isn’t just about horsepower and specs though, as it includes some interesting software features also.  One of the most prominent features is the Multiscreen functionality.  The Multiscreen feature allows the user to run two applications side by side on the screen at the same time, allowing for an entirely new level of multitasking.  Samsung is also shipping the Galaxy Note 10.1 with an S-Pen optimized version of Adobe’s Photoshop Touch already pre-loaded.  The Galaxy Note 10.1 also will carry features we’ve seen first launched in the Galaxy S3, such as Smart Stay, Allshare Play, and Group Cast.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available in two different storage sizes, 16gb and 32gb.  The 16gb version will be priced at $499, while the 32gb will be slightly higher at $549.  The Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available for purchase tomorrow in retail locations such as Best Buy, Brandsmart, Fry’s, and several other retailers.
