Sprint to Release Three Smartphones April 22nd as the LG Optimus Elite is Announced

April 22nd is shaping up to be quite a day for Sprint, as they have announced a third smartphone they will be releasing on that day. 聽Today Sprint announced the LG Optimus Elite will be released the same day as the Galaxy Nexus and the LG Viper 4G LTE. 聽The Optimus Elite will no doubt be an entry level device, as it will feature a 3.5″ display, 800mhz processor, 5 megapixel camera, and surprisingly (for a lower-end smartphone) NFC with Google Wallet support. 聽The Optimus Elite will carry a聽$29.99 price tag with two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate. 聽With Sprint due to release a low-end (LG Optimus Elite), mid-range (LG Viper 4G LTE), and high-end (Samsung Galaxy Nexus) smartphone April 22nd, it looks like they have everything covered.
