The writing is on the wall for Blackberry and their days are numbered. 聽If you pay even a small amount of attention to the smartphone world, this certainly comes as no surprise to you. 聽However, if you had any doubts, the New York Times might be enough of a reason to put those doubts to rest. 聽The New York Times has officially discontinued support for the Blackberry platform along with the WebOS platform. 聽There’s a common theme here, WebOS is already dead, and now they are ceasing support for it. 聽Apparently, The New York Times must feel the same way about Blackberry. 聽It’s never a good sign when major companies start to pull out of your platform. 聽That’s usually indicative of your days being numbered, and in this case Blackberry’s certainly are.
