Though things have never been better for Apple, there are those that believe that success will be short-lived. 聽Forrester Research CEO George Colony, predicts “Apple will decline in the post Steve Jobs era”. 聽In what could be considered a shot at Apple CEO Tim Cook, Colony says聽“without the arrival of a new charismatic leader it will move from being a great company to being a good company, with a commensurate step down in revenue growth and product innovation”. 聽Colony continues his indictment of Tim Cook, as he predicts Apple will suffer a similar fate as Sony and Kodak, and states Apple executives Jon Ive and Scott Forstall would be better suited to take the reins.聽 Colony expects Apple to coast on its current momentum for at least another 2-4 years before the decline begins.
