LG Optimus LTE 2 Leak

Pictures have now surfaced on the web of the recently announced LG Optimus LTE 2.  Judging from the timing of the announcement, and the newly “leaked” images of the Optimus LTE 2, LG appears to be attempting to tackle Samsung’s Galaxy S3 head on.  As a refresher, the LG Optimus LTE 2 will be the first smartphone to ship with 2gb of RAM.  Other notable specs include a next-gen 1.5ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4.7″ True HD IPS display, 2150mAh battery, LTE capability, wireless charging, and of course it will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.  LG still has not announced a specific release date for the Optimus LTE 2, but they have stated it will launch in Korea in mid-May.  No plans for a release in other markets have been announced.
