verizon gs3 release

After several different release date rumors, and even Verizon changing the release date themselves, the Galaxy S3 has finally been officially released on Big Red. 聽As of today, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is now available for purchase both on Verizon’s website, and in retail locations. 聽Verizon’s Galaxy S3 contains the same hardware as the other US variants, including the 4.8″ Super Amoled HD display, 1.5ghz dual-core processor, and 2gb of RAM. 聽Unfortunately, there is one thing that differentiates Verizon’s Galaxy S3 from the others. 聽Their Galaxy S3 ships with a locked bootloader, making it substantially less mod-friendly than the other Galaxy S3′s. 聽If you’re on Verizon and require an unlocked bootloader, you do have the option of ordering one with an unlocked bootloader directly from Samsung. 聽In the meantime, Verizon’s Galaxy S3 is available for purchase in pebble blue or ceramic white with a price tag starting at $199.99 for the 16gb model, up to $249.99 for the 32gb model.
